Taste Bacolod: Maria Kucina Familia

January 13, 2018

Maria Kucina Familia is one of our favorite spots to grab a bite in Bacolod right now, and you should definitely put it in your food bucket list. What’s to love? Uhm— only the crispy-on-the-outside-and-tender-on-the-inside deep fried leg of pork with chorizo.  Sounds mind-blowing, right? Wait ’til you try it.

And it doesn’t just stop there. Some dishes on the menu may sound a little ordinary, like the usual suspects—lengua, callos, spareribs, but there’s nothing ordinary on how they execute it. Everything was delish. Plus, this cozy old house turned restaurant is giving me the Tagaytay feels. The perfect setting for a lunch date with family, or a nice intimate dinner.
