Because Bacolod is more than just inasal and cansi, we’ve rounded up our favorite restaurants for the most authentic (or close to authentic) cuisines from almost every part of the globe. Good news, you don’t have to leave the city to satisfy your curious and keen taste buds.
8. Inaka
From sushi, to teppanyaki, to just about everything Japanese we love and crave, Inaka got us covered. Plus, the prices aren’t too shabby for a top notch meal.

7. Rau Ram Cafe
Their pho slays bigtime— that broth, those spices, the union of mind-blowing flavors makes this a mind-blowing dish. And if that’s not enough, try their Balut in sweet chili sauce, too.
Prk. Marapara, Brgy. Bata
6. Delicioso
The go-to spot for Italian carbs, Delicioso serves up arguably the best pizzas and pastas in town. And we don’t throw those words around lightly.
Lacson St.
5. Fogo
The one stop shop for all things Latin American. Their peri peri chicken, steak fajita and nachos are phenomenal. Truth: our mouths are watering right now at the prospect of their burrito (with extra chili, of course) right at the palm of our hands.

4. Hanok
Two words: Unlimited Samgyeopsal. This Korean barbecue joint is legit and we are always down for grilling and munching at the same time.

All of your heart’s desires are on the menu: green curry, pad thai, laksa, ayam goreng, pork satay and the finest Hainanese chicken you can find in the city. This place is downright superb.

Their mean paellas and tapas instantly transports us to Spain. That, plus a few glasses of sangria does the trick.

1. Mai Pao
Dimsum for days— hakaw, pork siomai, kuchay dumplings, xiao long bao and chicken feet to satisfy our Chinese munchies. Order the Mai Pao Pancit Canton and fried rice too, and you got yourself a winning meal.
