From genius masterpieces like the Social Swimmers (crispy fried tabagak fillets in alioli and reduced balsamic vinegar) and the Chistorra Cassoulet (slow cooked beans with txistorra chorizo), to the popular dishes that Bacolod will never run out of, like the Barbecue Ribs and Beef Salpicao, Sitting Duck has been killing it.
Their pastas are always a hit. Txistorra Pasta tops my list. Their Lamb Chops might just be the most flawless chops you can get in the city. I recently tried their fried chicken and it was insanely good—- the gravy might be a little too sweet for my taste, but with chicken like that, who needs gravy anyway? Of course, not to be missed, their Artichoke Dip, their breakfasts (Adobo Flakes for the win!) and, only the best barbecue ribs in town. Plus, they have a great selection of wines, liquors and cocktails, and they’re open ’til midnight! Jackpot.
With its friendly and homey vibe, and a service to match, it is no surprise Sitting Duck instantly became Bacolod’s favorite. Drop by with family and friends, and they might just become your favorite, too.
