Nonna’s Kitchen has been turning out impressive homey dishes for three years, including a number of pastas, sandwiches and steaks. The place echoes the homeyness, too. Great news, they open at 7am and have amazing breakfast and coffee options.
Their Spanish chorizo is a crowd favourite and you can count me in that crowd, too. The Pork sate was tender and tasty, and its peanut sauce was just divine. The Tinapa pasta is the true star, for me at least. Well-balanced flavours—it was rich without being too rich. In other words, it was soooo gooood.
Speaking of soooo gooood, their Pizookie. Fresh chocolate chip cookie skillet pizza topped with vanilla ice cream. Sorcery, pure sorcery. Make sure to save room for dessert and order this. You can thank me later.
