Juliana’s first caught my eye early 2017 with its clean, white structure by Lacson street. Just by looking at the place, I knew they’d be serving classic, traditional fares. I was right. Juliana’s offers homey dishes in a casual, family-style dining set-up. I finally found myself in Juliana’s one night while most restaurants in Bacolod were closed (most restaurants close at 9pm, always a problem for me btw), — plus, they have a great selection of alcoholic drinks. Aces in my book!
Their menu is limited, but I was never a fan of lengthy menus to be honest. I mean, just stick to what you know and do it best. And that is exactly what Juliana’s is doing. Their chicharon bulaklak is crispy, tasty and out of this world. Their Sizzling Duck is beautifully seasoned, and it is no surprise that it is one of their specialties. Their Ox Tongue easily became my favorite. The meat is tender and the mushroom sauce is delectable. I wiped that plate clean in seconds.
Drop by Juliana’s Cafe and Resto and feast on their steaks, sandwiches and more! Chicharon bulaklak (P180)
