Imagine my excitement when I first heard Bacolod finally produces its very own cheese. Top that with another amazing news of Bacolod having a restaurant devoted to making fresh pasta. Cheese and pasta. It’s like Capriccioso Deli Ristorante just made my dreams come true in one go. Their burrata salad (P450) was heaven in my mouth. The secret? Phenomenal burrata.Delicate freshly made strands swimming in pesto sauce, their Tagliatelle con Pesto (P230) is proof that homemade pasta makes a whole lot of difference. I’ll forever be a fool for porcini and truffles, so their Ravioli con Tartufo e Porcini (P315) was a sure hit. It was simple yet divine, filling without being unbearably rich. Angus Rib-Eye (P250/100gms.)
Capriccioso Deli Ristorante brilliantly executes soulful Italian cuisine, with an impressive wine list to match. They now serve breakfasts from 8am-11am Tuesdays to Sundays. Don’t miss taking home their locally made cheeses! You’ll definitely come back for more. I know I will.
