Waking up in Venice

September 14, 2016

There’s something about the Venetain backdrop: the vivid colors of the time-worn buildings, Italian hymns by the gondoliers echoing through the alleyways, symphony of smells from pizza, seafood and yes, the canals. Venice is a marvel to the senses.

Each turn, each bridge, each gondola makes me trigger-happy—making Venice one of my most favorite cities to photograph. This city has the power to make me speechless, granted I had too much Bellinis and seafood pasta to shut me up. Simply put, no words, no photos can capture this city’s grandeur.
